ABOUT THE ATTORNEY
Thomas Maxwell Smith
Max Smith was born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas. He attended Arlington Heights High School in southwest Fort Worth Texas where he graduated in 2010. From there Max traveled to Georgetown, Texas where he worked on an undergraduate degree in History at Southwestern University. Max was a member of Southwestern University Baseball team during his time at Southwestern, eventually graduating in 2013.
Following his undergraduate studies, Max went out west to Lubbock, Texas where he obtained an M.B.A. from the Texas Tech's Rawls College of Business in 2014 and then a J.D. from Texas Tech University School of Law in 2018.
Max was admitted to the Texas bar in 2018 and practiced with another Fort Worth law firm before opening his own practice. He is licensed to practice law in the State of Texas as well as the United States District Court of the Northern District of Texas.
"I am a general practice attorney, handling cases in a wide range of areas. In law school they like to tell you that the law is a “seamless web” and, most of the time, I have found that they were right.
I choose to practice across multiple areas because a client can never know when his business representation is going take a turn and require an attorney with a knowledge of his business dealings as well as a solid understanding of family, probate, criminal, or tort law. Many times issues in one area also require counseling in another. I strive to know as much as I can about the law of our great state so that I can provide you the most comprehensive representation that I can.
Nobody ever wants to need a lawyer, but when you do you want one that is going to get you the answers that you need, not one that is going to pass the buck to someone else."

There are not many places left in the world where you can look a man in the eye, shake his hand, and feel comfortable that he will uphold his side of the deal, but Bosque County is still one of those places."
