Max Smith was born and raised here in Fort Worth, Texas. Here, he attended Arlington Heights High School, graduating in 2010. From there Max traveled to Georgetown, Texas where he completed his undergraduate degree at Southwestern University. Graduating in 2013 Max was a member of Southwestern University Baseball team during his time there.

Following his undergraduate studies, Max went out west to Lubbock, Texas where he obtained an M.B.A. from the Texas Tech's Rawls College of Business in 2014 and a J.D. from Texas Tech University School of Law in 2018.

Max was admitted to the Texas bar in 2018 and practiced with another Fort Worth law firm before opening his own practice.  He is licensed to practice law in the State of Texas as well as the United States District Court of the Northern District of Texas.

"I am a general practice attorney, handling cases in a wide range of areas. In law school they love to tell you that that law is a “seamless web” and, most of the time, I have found that they are right. I choose to practice across multiple areas because a client can never know when his or her business issue is going morph into a family, probate, or tort law matter. Many times seemingly simple issues in one area also require counseling in another. I strive to know as much as I can about the law of our great state and to provide you the most comprehensive representation that I can."

When he is not at the office, you can often find Max rooting on the Arlington Heights and the Texas Christian University Horned Frog baseball, basketball, and football teams.

I was born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas.  This has always been my home and it is one of the most up and coming towns in all of the United States so it was very easy for me to make the decision to put down roots here.  This town is going to continue to be a great spot to open a business, start a family, go to school for a long time to come.

To quote Amon Carter in Dave LIeberman’s new play Amon: The Ultimate Texan, “A man cannot live off his community. He must live with it.” I believe this to be true and will always strive to provide the best possible representation to my clients and to my community.

I want to be there to help you in times of good and bad. Give me a call or come

by and see me today, my office is located just about a mile north of the

Old Courthouse in Downtown Fort Worth .
